Foxhills' members enjoy continued season of magical events

Members at Foxhills are looking forward to a host of exciting events this autumn as a jam-packed schedule shows no signs of slowing down with the long nights set to draw in.

Following a busy summer, the entertainment will continue at the Surrey venue, with members being treated to a series of exclusive events – including one of the biggest of the year. Set to take place on November 12 with a Las Vegas-theme, the annual members’ ball will be filled with lively musical performances and traditional casino games on a night of glitz and glamour.

The annual members’ ball is not the only event set to entertain members and visitors over the coming months. On October 14, the Sir Elton John tribute act ‘Authentic Elton’ will be live at Foxhills performing a huge repertoire of the icon’s most famous tracks.

With Halloween around the corner, Foxhills is also preparing to put on 12 days of spook-filled activities at The Pavilion for adults and children to enjoy. The events, taking place between October 17-28, will be closely followed by the annual fireworks evening hosted at The Clubhouse on November 5.

On Sunday, November 27, members and guests will also gather to enjoy bottomless prosecco and a catch-up over brunch as the venue hosts a ‘Fizz in the Fox’ event in The Fox Dining Rooms. Bookings are now open to both members and non-members living in the local area.

The upcoming entertainment comes off the back of what has already been a busy early autumn at Foxhills. The ever-popular outdoor cinema also made a triumphant return in September. Families came together on September 24 to enjoy popcorn, candyfloss, marshmallows, hot chocolate, burgers and fries on the Manor Lawn with a screening of the much-loved musical phenomenon Disney’s Encanto and the original Top Gun (1986).

Between September 16-18, Foxhills was the venue for the prestigious PGA Cup, a team event which saw a selection of the world’s best club professionals, representing the PGAs of Great Britain & Ireland (GB&I) and America, go head-to-head in a Ryder Cup format for the Llandudno International Trophy.

Team USA overcame a resilient GB&I performance to successfully defend their title across three days of exceptional golf as the revered Longcross course, renowned as one of Surrey’s top tree-lined layouts and consistently featuring in UK top 100 rankings, proved the perfect stage.

More than 70 Foxhills members volunteered throughout the week to ensure the smooth-running of the competition, while members also enjoyed exclusive access to the event.

Foxhills is set on a picturesque 400-acre estate in Ottershaw, Surrey. Alongside two 18-hole championship golf courses, Foxhills is also home to an award-winning gym and Health Spa, five swimming pools, 11 tennis courts, a packed schedule of weekly fitness classes, three unique restaurants and a 66-bedroom hotel.
