Foxhills has promoted previous Head of Leisure, Georgina Tyson, to Director of Leisure and Spa which will see her join our Senior Management Team.

The move comes as Surrey’s premier club and resort embarks on further significant investment into its award-winning leisure facilities. In her new role, Georgina will oversee a full gym and spa reception refurbishment as well as the exciting addition of pickleball and padel tennis facilities to Foxhills in 2024.

An integral member of the Foxhills team for over three years, Georgina launched The Pavilion family facilities at the club and spearheaded innovative initiatives which have contributed to it exceeding all expectations since its opening in May 2021. As a result, Georgina has an extensive understanding of membership standards at the resort and her new role will focus on streamlining and improving the leisure experience further for club members to ensure they continue to get excellent service and value from their membership.

Georgina's leadership skills were honed in her previous positions at top UK leisure, fitness and event businesses including Virgin Active, Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Madame Tussauds.

On her new role, Georgina said: "I am so proud that I’m able to play an even bigger part in all of the exciting leisure developments that are in the pipeline at Foxhills. Since I started here three years ago, the club has grown enormously and I’m committed, now more than ever, to ensure our members and guests always experience excellence. Every day I’m motivated by the club’s mission of ensuring everyone who visits us leaves feeling better than when they arrived. Foxhills is truly a magical home from home.”

Tej Walia, Foxhills’ Managing Director said: “As Foxhills marks 40 years of ownership by the Hayton family, we continue to invest heavily in all our facilities to meet the needs of all our members and guests. We are fortunate to have somebody like Georgina in the business to drive our leisure initiatives forward. Her innovative approach to wellness programming, coupled with a keen and intuitive understanding of guest preferences, has significantly contributed to Foxhills' reputation as a top-tier leisure destination.”
