Our dedicated art studio is the home of our creative programme, while The Pavilion and our woodland areas are the perfect spots to enjoy wellness activities.

Forest Bathing is back for Spring 2024. Forest Bathing is a mindfulness practice that slows the mind and reduces stress. Take time to find calm amongst the trees, connecting with nature and breathing deeply.
Enjoy a group ride around the local area for approximately two hours. Our Cycling Club meets on a Wednesday morning at 10am and a Sunday morning at 9:30am outside Nineteen. A mechanically sound road bicycle, a helmet, and appropriate clothing are essential.
A relaxed and sociable club for bookworms. Meet on the first Thursday of the month to discuss the latest book over a glass of wine.

Come and join Fernando for a fun and dynamic conversational introduction to the Spanish language for beginners. You will learn how to introduce yourself, talk about your daily activities and have basic conversations in a variety of environments. The course will run for 9 weeks and session will build on the learnings from the previous week. Wednesdays 1-2pm
Following last month’s inaugural was so great to hear of members coming together from such a wide range of sectors and industries, this truly emphasises the need for this event to become a consistent fixture on the Adult Activities timetable. The Art Studio provides a tranquil environment to connect with your creativity, socialise and enjoy our stunning surroundings. This is a space to express your creativity in our Art classes.
Learn the basics of realism by exploring the techniques and media of a range of artists. Gain confidence and learn to capture the likeness of people, animals and nature.
Mixed Media Art classes are all about letting go of fear and trying something new in a relaxed environment. We create projects that develop over a few weeks in different mediums and surprising ways, from painting to printmaking, pottery to wire sculpture. All abilities are welcome.
The main purpose of these classes is to have fun and connect with your inner artist and creative self. Explore Watercolour painting in a friendly and encouraging environment. Suitable for beginners and seasoned artists, develop your Watercolour skills through different techniques each week, while drawing inspiration from your surroundings at Foxhills. Sumi-e Oriental Style Art is inspired by Oriental Art Paintings and with the use of Sumi-e ink and water-based charcoals, this painting technique will show and develop a gentle and graceful touch and meaningful storytelling

Join us for a fun morning of crafting and learn how to embroider this beautiful flower posy. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience of hand sewing too. You will be introduced to a range of beginner hand embroidery stitches, starting with some easier ones and these will build up as your confidence grows. You will be provided with a kit that includes everything you need to continue stitching at home.
This club welcomes all levels and it is the perfect chance for beginners to start their creative journey. You will start by using simple shapes and linking them to produce beautiful pictures every session. You will learn step by step how to draw animals, figures, faces, basics about perspectives, landscapes, seascapes and flowers using mainly pencils and watercolours, and get introduced to painting on canvas using acrylics.
