A big thank you to the 40 players who participated in the CJ Cup (Parents VS Juniors) this year! The CJ Cup is a fun and competitive event where juniors face off against their parents. This year, we were fortunate to have 10 pairs on each team, a significant improvement from last year.
The players competed in a pairs matchplay Texas Scramble format, which was well-received by everyone with positive feedback throughout the day.
The match was incredibly close, with both teams battling until the very end. Each team won four matches and two draws, resulting in an overall tie. Unfortunately for the parents, the juniors retained the cup from last year, meaning they will continue to hold the title for another year.
We look forward to next year’s event and hope to see even more players join in on the fun!
It has been wonderful to see the progress of our juniors at Foxhills over the past year. As we look ahead, we encourage all juniors to take full advantage of the many events Foxhills has to offer. Whether it’s participating in social events or joining adult competitions, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.
One area we particularly want to emphasise is tournament participation. Juniors are welcome and eligible to compete in the club’s main competitions, an excellent opportunity to apply their practice and refine their skills in a competitive setting. These events are played alongside adult members in a safe and supportive environment, with at least two adults accompanying each junior. Additionally, up to three juniors can play together, provided at least one is over the age of 14. This ensures appropriate safeguarding for all participants. Please refer to the main fixture list for these events.

We will be hosting a Junior Virtual Club Championship on our TrackMan range - a fun and competitive event where every junior can participate.

Bushnell will continue sponsoring our junior section for a second year, covering first-place prizes for major competitions and the Order of Merit (OOM). We truly appreciate their ongoing support.
Golf Genius OOM leaderboard
To make tracking standings easier, we will be utilising our Golf Genius account for the OOM leaderboard. This will allow juniors to access rankings anytime and stay updated on their progress.
Mark cards for 54 Holes (3x18 holes or combination of 18/9 holes).
Any registered WHS golfer can testify/mark.
Once you have 54 holes, take photos and email along with the following information.
