Members at Foxhills have been treated to an unforgettable summer, following a jam-packed season of events at Surrey’s leading country club.

Blessed with warm and sunny conditions throughout, the Foxhills summer celebrations kicked off with members joining the nation in celebrating The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June, enjoying live music and children’s activities during a special Jubilee afternoon tea and garden party.

The fun continued into July with the annual Pavilion Summer Party, which was thoroughly enjoyed by guests young and old, and included an outdoor pool party, hog roast, children's activities, ice creams and live music throughout the day.

The summer at Foxhills has also seen an array of sporting events – the biggest being the GB Pro-Series ITA World Tennis event, which reached its climax on Saturday, August 6. The tournament saw Joanna Garland claim her maiden win, as the 21-year-old from Chinese Taipei overcame the strong challenge of Japan’s Nyoka Okamura in an absorbing three-set final to earn the biggest win of her fledgling career at the $25,000 event.

Elsewhere, music lovers were treated to an afternoon of jazz on the Manor House lawn on Sunday 7th August with Ratpack, soul and jazz classics much enjoyed by members and their guests.

Taking advantage of the school holidays, CJ’s Summer Camps debuted in August, entertaining younger members. Each week of the five-week programme had a specific theme, such as wilderness week – complete with nature skills classes, or around the world week – featuring cultural activities.

As the sun sets on a magical summer at Foxhills, its members can look forward to many more treats in store. September will see the return of the club’s outdoor cinema, with Disney’s Encanto and the original Top Gun (1986) both being shown on 10th September.

One of the biggest events of the year - the annual Members’ Ball - will be hosted on 24th September. Members can look forward to a Las Vegas-themed evening, filled with lively entertainment from a DJ and some showgirls, a five-course meal, as well as trying their luck on roulette and blackjack tables.
